Why You Need to Join Me at the Idaho Real Estate Investing Conference
Hey friends! I’m so glad you’re here. If this is your first time tuning in, I’m Jonna Weber, host of the Idaho Real Estate Investing Show, an investor for over twenty-two years, and someone who is passionate about giving back—especially to newer investors.
First off, Happy Fall! There’s something about this season that just hits differently. I’ve been scrolling through all the back-to-school pics on Facebook and Instagram, and it made my heart race a little with nostalgia and happiness. My daughter graduated college this May, and my son has a full-time job in Denver, so this is the first year I haven’t had kids heading back to school. I miss those days, but I hope you all soak them in and snap every photo—you’ll thank yourself later.
This past summer, my husband and I dove into some new hobbies, because after years of investing so much of our time into our kids and their activities, we wanted a little adventure. We took a Bronco off-road adventure in Moab, climbing mountains and learning all about off-roading—it was such a rush! Then we headed to Reno for Hot August Nights, the largest collectible car show in the U.S.—6,500 cars! I never imagined I’d enjoy car shows, but I had an absolute blast.
But let’s fast forward to something that’s happening this Fall—and that I am beyond excited to share with you: the Idaho Real Estate Investing Conference, coming October 10th in Boise.
Some of you might be hearing about it for the first time, but here’s the backstory: I attended an incredible event in Twin Falls last year called the Idaho Summit, hosted by Senate and Carrie Eskridge. It was jam-packed with value, from inspiring speakers to amazing networking opportunities. I knew I had to come back the next year. While there, Senate and I talked about creating something similar in Boise—but focused entirely on real estate investors, whether you’re just starting or already actively investing. I bought a ticket, flew to Denver, got a hotel room, and spent a few days immersing myself in that summit. I met people, learned from the sessions, and had some “aha” moments that completely shifted my life. I got my real estate license, started hosting quarterly investor meetups, connected with people across the country, and eventually built a business that has helped hundreds of investors achieve financial freedom. None of that would have happened if I hadn’t shown up and invested in myself.
